October 26 will kick off the annual volunteer mentoring program sponsored by the DoD.
The program is part of the National Disability Employment Program, meant to help with the hiring of individuals with disabilities.
Stephen M. King, DOD’s director of disability programs, says that “Participants have said that DOD’s Workforce Recruitment Program’s e-Mentoring program gave them the confidence and knowledge needed when applying for full-time employment within the Department of Defense, and the federal government as a whole.”
