DOD Offers First-responders View of 9/11 Arraignment

This Saturday, 5 May, first responders and other emergency personnel will be at Fort Hamilton to watch the arraignment of 9/11 conspirators held in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

According to Wendy Kelly, chief of operations for the Office of Military Commissions, this was done in “In recognition of the very unique situation that occurred in New York City with the first responders, we wanted to [make a site available] for police, fire, paramedics and other emergency workers who lost friends and co-workers,”
